Paintings, Research
& Installation
I make abstract and representational paintings as well as installation work. My practice blends research, experimentation and diverse visual forms to consider how we perceive, measure and make sense of our place in the cosmos.
Drawing on a personal archive of film, documentary and other moving-image sources, I layer collected texts, notes, fragments of studio materials and inkjet prints into large-scale collaged wall works. My paintings are sometimes interspersed within these wall works, and sometimes stand alone.
